GetList

Returns a list for the customer whose key is sent. There is one list, AssetLocations: every open work order of the customer’s jobs, with the latest position reported for an asset on it, such as the truck that carries the container. A customer’s system uses it to show all its containers on a map at once. For one container, with the latest event the customer can see, use GetAssetLocation.

In TrakIT, assets are put on a work order in its Assets box, and the positions of a GPS asset are on the asset’s Positions tab.

GET /api/public/GetList?APIKey=your-entity-key&ListType=AssetLocations

Send the key in the APIKey query string parameter. It is the customer’s own key: the API Key shown on the entity’s page when Enable API Access is on for the entity (see entity fields). URL-encode it. The key is part of the address, so keep these URLs out of logs you share.

Both must be in the query string: without one, TrakIT answers HTTP 404.

Response

On success, Code is 1, RetInfo lists the open work orders of the jobs whose customer is the key’s entity, and RowsAffected is their number. Open means active or abandoned: closed and cancelled work orders are left out (see Close, cancel or re-open). The list is sorted by container number, then job reference.

A work order whose assets have reported no position is listed too, with null position fields. With no open work orders, RetInfo is an empty list and RowsAffected is 0.

Field	Meaning
containerno	The container number of the work order.
bookingno	The job reference.
gpsdate	When the latest position of an asset on the work order was reported, in UTC. See Dates and times.
gpslat, gpslong	That position’s latitude and longitude, in decimal degrees.
