Bulk operations

TrakIT has three pages for working on many work orders at once. You find them under Operations > Bulk Operations.

To	Use	How
Create jobs and work orders	Bulk create	Upload an Excel file with one row per work order.
Change the header, events and data of existing work orders	Bulk update	Upload an Excel file in which the changed cells are yellow.
Close, cancel, re-open, reset or delete work orders, or cancel, close or re-open finance jobs	Bulk actions	Paste a list of IDs and choose the action.

Bulk create and bulk update run in the background and email you the results. Only one of these uploads can run at a time across your company: if another one is running, TrakIT tells you who started it and asks you to try again later.

To change a few work orders of the same job, you can also use Action… on the job.
