Leads

The Leads page lists your leads: companies you hope to win as customers, from the first contact until you win or lose them. Open it from CRM > Leads.

Each lead has a source, where it came from, and a status, how far it has got. A system administrator sets up the sources and statuses under Admin > Masters > CRM. Each status is of the type Open, Won or Lost. A lead whose status is of the type Won can be converted into an entity, such as a customer.

  1. Select Filters to open the filter panel, if it is closed.
  2. Enter or select the filters you need.
  3. Select Search.

Reset clears the filters. TrakIT remembers your filters for the next time you open the page.

Filter Finds
Company / Contact / Code Leads whose company name, primary contact or code contains the text.
Show Active (Not Converted) or Converted Only leads, or — All Leads —.
Status Leads with the selected status. The list has the active statuses.
Rating Hot, Warm or Cold leads.
Source Leads from the selected source. The list has the active sources.

Above the list, the page shows how many leads match, for example 25 Found. The list shows 25 leads per page, the most recently changed first. Select Code, Company, Contact, Source, Assigned To, Expected Close or Changed in the heading to sort by that column.

You see the leads whose responsible company is one of the companies you have access to. System administrators see all leads.

Select a row to open the lead.

Select New Lead to open an empty lead form, then fill it in as described under Create a lead on the Lead page.

Select Export to download the leads that match the filters, on all pages, as an Excel file. The file has one row for each lead, with its Code, Company, Contact, Designation, Phone, Email, Website, Address, Country, Source, Status, Rating, Assigned To, Office (the responsible company), Probability, Est. Value, Currency, Expected Close, Description, Converted, Converted On, Converted By, Created By, Created On, Changed By and Changed, followed by a column for each active lead data field.
