| Item Age | How many days the stock had been in the warehouse. |
| Committed By | Who made the transaction, or System. |
System administrators also see Cancel Last Transaction, which cancels the item’s most recent transaction and returns its stock. A move makes at least two transactions, one out of the source and one into the destination, so undoing a move takes a cancel for each of them.
Move stock
Section titled “Move stock”Move Stock moves stock from one storage location to another, in the same warehouse or another one. It appears when the item is in stock.
- Select Move Stock.
- Choose where to take the stock from: From Warehouse, From Area and From Storage. The lists show only places that hold the item, and Available Stock shows how much.
- To move only one customer’s stock, choose the Customer. The list shows the customers who own stock of the item there, and Available Stock then shows only their stock.
- Choose where to put it: To Warehouse, To Area and To Storage.
- Enter the Quantity, the Serial for items with serial numbers, and Remarks of at least 10 characters.
- Select Commit Move.
The stock is taken oldest first. At the destination it keeps its customer, reference and age. The source storage location must allow stock out, and the destination must allow stock in and have room for it; otherwise nothing is moved. The moved stock is no longer linked to the work order that received it: see Move stock between storage locations.
Adjust stock
Section titled “Adjust stock”Adjust Stock adds or removes stock by hand, for example after a count.
- Select Adjust Stock.
- Choose Add Stock or Remove Stock.
- Choose the Warehouse, Area and Storage. To remove stock, the lists show only places that hold the item.
- To add stock, you can choose the Customer it belongs to and enter a Reference. To remove stock, you can choose the Customer whose stock to remove; Available Quantity then shows only their stock.
- Enter the Quantity, the Serial for items with serial numbers, and Remarks of at least 10 characters.
- Select Add or Remove.
Stock is removed oldest first: only the chosen customer’s stock, or anyone’s if you choose no customer. The storage location must allow the movement, and have room for stock you add.
