GetInvoiceList

Lists the invoices, debit notes and credit notes of a date range, with their number, status, customer, total and jobs. Use it to pick up the invoices that were created, approved or finalized since your last call, then read each one in full with GetInvoice. For what each status means, see Statuses on the invoice page.

The list holds the invoices of one company: the Company of the TrakIT user who signed in (see User fields).

How to sign in and read the response: Authentication, Responses.

GET /api/v1/GetInvoiceList?DateType=Approved&FromDate=2026-10-01&ToDate=2026-10-08
Token: your-token
Parameter Required Meaning
DateType Yes The date the range applies to: InvDate, Created, Approved or Finalised. Capitals do not matter. See Date range.
FromDate Yes The start of the range, as yyyy-MM-dd, or yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss for a time. Included.
ToDate Yes The end of the range, in the same form. Included. At most 365 days after FromDate.

Send dates as yyyy-MM-dd or yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss: other forms depend on the server’s regional settings. See Dates.

DateType The range applies to
InvDate The invoice date.
Created When the invoice was created, in UTC.
Approved When the invoice was approved, in UTC. Invoices not approved yet are left out.
Finalised When the invoice was finalized, in UTC. Invoices not finalized yet are left out.

Created, Approved and Finalised are times. A date without a time is the start of that day, so ToDate=2026-10-08 stops at midnight at the start of 8 October. To include the whole day, send ToDate=2026-10-08T23:59:59 or the next day.

On success, Code is 1, RetInfo is the list, oldest invoice date first, and RowsAffected is the number of invoices in it. When no invoice matches, the list is empty: Code is still 1 and RowsAffected is 0.

Field Meaning
ID The invoice’s ID in TrakIT. Use it with GetInvoice.
InvNum The invoice number. A draft has a pro-forma number, such as PF00123-1, until it is approved.
InvDate The invoice date, as yyyy-MM-dd.
Type I for an invoice, D for a debit note, C for a credit note.
Status Draft, Approved, Finalised, Cancelled or Written Off. An invoice that TrakIT shows as Reversed, because a credit note was raised against it, keeps its Approved or Finalised status here.
EntID, EntCode The ID and code of the entity billed, usually the customer. See GetEntity.
Currency The invoice’s currency.
Total The invoice total, taxes included.
JobIDs The IDs of the jobs the invoice bills: its job, or for an invoice that is not for one job, the jobs of its accounts. See GetJob.
DocID The ID of the invoice’s PDF among the finance documents, or null when it has none.
CreatedBy, CreatedOn The user ID of who created the invoice, and when, in UTC.
ApprovedBy, ApprovedOn The user ID of who approved the invoice, and when, in UTC. null until it is approved.
  • A draft’s number and date can still change: its date moves to today each time it is opened, and it gets its final number when it is approved. Read the invoice again once it is approved.
  • Cancelled invoices are listed too. Filter on Status if you do not want them.
  • Send every parameter: without one of them the request does not reach the endpoint, and TrakIT answers with HTTP status 404 (see Errors).
