CancelWO
Cancels the work orders you list, as Cancel Work Order does on the
work order page. Use it when a container or load
is dropped from a job in your system. To close finished work orders instead, use
CloseWO; to open cancelled ones again, use ReopenWO.

- A cancelled work order gets the status Cancelled (
2inGetWO), with the date and the API user as the user who cancelled it. Its audit log saysCancelled via API. The API records no reason for cancellation. - The work order leaves delay tracking, and its yard moves are no longer linked to it.
- Unlike cancelling in TrakIT, the API sends no email to the work order’s responsible person.
- For each work order cancelled, TrakIT works out its computed data fields, runs the event and data actions that are due and your company’s actions for Cancel WO, and tells the users who subscribed to Cancel WO notifications.
- If a request times out, you can send it again: work orders already cancelled are refused with
Work Order is already cancelledand stay cancelled.
