Jobs
The Jobs page of the mobile app lists your jobs as cards, newest first, so that you can find a job on your phone or tablet and open it. A job groups the work orders of one shipment or assignment. You see only the jobs of the workflows you have access to.
To open it, select Jobs in the mobile app’s menu, or its tile on the home page. See Using the mobile app.
It is the phone version of the desktop Jobs page, with fewer filters and no export or job creation: for those, use TrakIT on a computer.
Find a job
Section titled “Find a job”- If the page shows tabs under the title, select the workflow group to search in.
- Select Filter to open the filter panel.
- Enter or choose the filters you need.
- Select Apply.
The panel closes and the list shows the matching jobs. The number of matching jobs appears next to the Jobs title once TrakIT has counted them, which can take a moment after the first cards appear. While filters are in use, a red badge on Filter shows how many.
Select a card to open the job.
To go back to the default filters, open the panel and select Clear: all workflows of the selected group, and open jobs only.
TrakIT keeps your filters and the selected tab while you open jobs and come back to the list, until you close the mobile app. It also remembers the workflow group for your next visit.
Workflow group tabs
Section titled “Workflow group tabs”If your workflows are in more than one workflow group, a tab appears for each group under the title. On a narrow screen, swipe the tabs sideways to see them all. The list, and the Workflow filter, show only the selected group. There is no tab for all groups: select each group in turn.
TrakIT opens the page on the group you used last in the mobile app, or else on your Default Workflow Group (see User), or else on the first group.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”| Filter | Finds |
|---|---|
| Workflow | All the workflows of the selected group, or one of them. The list offers the active workflows you have access to. |
| Customer | Jobs whose customer’s name contains the text. The label is your company’s name for the customer entity type, for example Customer. |
| Job reference Number | Jobs whose job reference or workflow serial contains the text. Spaces are ignored. The label starts with your company’s short name for the job reference, for example T/D Number. |
| Container Number | Jobs with a work order, not cancelled, whose container number contains the text. Spaces are ignored. |
| Status | Open: jobs with at least one active or abandoned work order. Closed: jobs whose work orders are all closed or cancelled. |
The list starts with Open selected. In the text filters, press Enter to apply the filters straight away.
The job cards
Section titled “The job cards”Each card shows one job. What a card shows is set up for your company, for example the job reference, the workflow, the customer, the commodity, and the number of open and total work orders.
The list loads 20 jobs at a time: scroll down and the next jobs load on their own. No more jobs at the bottom means you have reached the end of the list, and No jobs found that no job matches your filters.
Messages
Section titled “Messages”Messages appear in a box at the top of the screen for a few seconds.
