Yard trucks

The Yard Trucks page lists the trucks that came into a container yard: when each one came in, whether it has left, and the container moves made with it.

To open it, select Yards > Yard Trucks.

How trucks get on the list

TrakIT keeps the list itself, from the gate moves:

When a gate-in move by truck is executed, for example with Truck In on the Device App, TrakIT adds the truck: the Vehicle and Driver entered on the move, the zone of the move and the time.
When a gate-out move by truck is executed with the same vehicle number, TrakIT fills in the time the truck went out.

Moves by rail do not add anything to the list. A truck that came in several times is listed once for each visit.

Choose the yard

The list at the top of the page offers the container yards that have at least one zone and belong to a company you have access to. System administrators see every container yard. TrakIT remembers the yard you choose, also for the other pages of the Yards menu that have a yard list.

Find a truck

Select Filters to open the filter panel, if it is closed.
Enter or select the filters you need.
Select Search.

Reset clears the filters. TrakIT remembers your filters for the next time you open the page.

Filter	Finds
Truck Number	Any part of the vehicle number.
Driver	Any part of the driver’s name.
In Yard	When ticked, only the trucks that have not gone out yet.

The list

The number of trucks found appears above the list, for example Found: 125. The list shows 20 trucks per page, the latest to come in first.

Column	Shows
Truck Number	The vehicle number.
Driver	The driver entered on the gate-in move.
Zone	The zone of the gate-in move.
Gate In	When the truck came in, in your time zone.
Gate Out	When it went out, or - while it is still in the yard.
(icon)	For a truck still in the yard, the gate-out icon (Gate-Out Truck), if your role can update yard moves. See Record a truck leaving.

The Export button above the list is not in use: it stays greyed out.

See a truck’s container moves

Select a truck in the list. It is highlighted, and Container Moves appears next to the list, with the number of moves in brackets. It lists the executed moves made with that vehicle number in the selected yard, the latest first, including those of its earlier visits.

Column	Shows
Executed	When the move was executed, in your time zone.
Move Type	The move type, for example Gate In, In Stack or Gate Out.
Yard, Zone	Where the move was made.
Truck	The vehicle number.
Position	The stack position, or On Truck for a move without one.
Asset	The yard equipment recorded on the move, if any.
B/L	The job reference of the work order linked to the move.
WO	The number of that work order.
Remarks	The remarks entered on the move.

The list shows the 20 latest moves. To see them all, export them: select Export above the moves to download every move of the truck in the yard as an Excel file, with the Move ID first and then the same columns.

Searching, changing the yard or going to another page of the truck list clears the selection.

Record a truck leaving

If a truck has left without a gate-out move being executed, record its exit on this page:

Find the truck. Ticking In Yard lists only the trucks still inside.
Select the gate-out icon (Gate-Out Truck) at the end of its row.

TrakIT records the current time in Gate Out at once, without asking you to confirm, and says Truck exit successfull. This only updates the truck list: it does not create a gate-out move or change any container move. To record the container leaving the yard as well, execute its gate-out move.

Messages

Message	What to do
No accessible Yards found	No container yard with zones belongs to a company you have access to. Ask your administrator: see Setting up warehousing.
Authorization Failed, with Permission denied	Your role does not have Read in the Yard Moves section.
The truck is not in this yard, or has already left	The truck’s exit has already been recorded, for example by another user. Select Search to refresh the list.
